Welcome from the Executive Director

I would like to welcome you to the Global Institute for Leadership and Civic Development's Global Leadership Program. The program is an exciting opportunity for you to take your leadership studies to an international level. International exposure is crucial in this new millennium. More and more efforts are being made to create links and relationships among countries, businesses, and people. This is your chance to be a part of the incredible changes that are taking place around you.

The purpose of the program is to make you think-about yourself and those around you-and to give you new skills and insight for your future development. Most importantly, this program will inspire you to go beyond the norm by making a difference in your own community. This program is for current and aspiring movers and shakers. My hope is that this program will provide you with new opportunities, enable you to take on new roles, and allow you to gain life experience. In other words, I want this program to make an impact on your life-an impact that you, in turn, will pass on to others.

I will do everything I can to ensure that this program is an experience of a lifetime. As a former resident of Prague, I simply cannot say enough about the beauty and splendor of this location and of Europe as a whole. Last year's program was a fabulous success and I expect this year's to be even better!
